Any students planning on playing a sport will need a physical either with their own physician or the school physician on a yearly basis. Our school physician will be conducting sports physicals throughout the school year. Please have your student come to the health office if they need to sign up for a physical. For those entering the 7th grade, the school sports physical also fulfills the requirement for health appraisal for 7th grade in New York State. It is still encouraged to continue with yearly visits to student's primary physician. Thank you. Please call the health office with any questions.

New York State law requires public schools to request, or ask, for a dental health certificate of students, at the time of school entry and in grades K, 1,3,5,7,9, and 11 declaring their dental health condition.

If your student requires medication during school, please notify the school nurse. Medication needs to be brought in by a parent with prescriber's orders and the medication in its original container. Please see "Health" section under "Departments" to print a medication form. Doctor and parent signature is required for any medication taken at school. Any questions please call 648-7551.
